ABOUT US

         Cathy and Tom began their performing careers right out of college, and eventually toured 15 mid-western states for a period of 12 years.  Venues for the duo range from city concerts, college concerts, corporate events, fund raisers, private parties and coffee shops.

             Their presentation combines their musical abilities and understanding of human nature to generate an honest, uplifting  and life-changing message

       They have a digital recording studio, where they spend much of their time experimenting with new ideas for their music.

         Cathy graduated with a degree in “Music Performance from  the College of St. Benedicts, a liberal arts college in  St. Joseph, MN.  She draws from formal education in all aspect of her professional life.  Cathy has been writing songs, poems and short stories for the past 16 years.  Life experience shapes the themes of her lyrics and melodies.  She has lead seminars and has experience as a public speaker.

          Tom’s interest in music began with the piano in his early years.  Later he transferred his musical knowledge from piano to the guitar.  Self taught and self motivated, he founded a rock band at 15 years old which continued through high school.  As he began college, the message of folk music inspired him to perform and write in that genre.  The music Tom writes currently, addresses issues of the human condition.  Humor and wit, often flavor his songs.
